Cannabis.....One Step Closer to Legitimacy~~Or, Is It??

by - Posted 1 year ago

Earlier Today, the United States Senate Banking Committee voted to send the Secure and Fair Enforcement Regulation (SAFER) Banking Act to the Senate Floor for a possible vote sometime soon.

The US Senators still have minor issues to iron out; yet the Article reports Senate Leadership says passage will happen.

Why is this important~~~whom does it benefit, and why is it a step closer to legitimize the Cannabis Industry?

While reading the Full Article, take note the Act will allow Cannabis Businesses to take the same 280-E IRS Business Tax Deductions as any other business; it also allows the Nation's Banks to legally open Cannabis Business Accounts allowing safe deposits and credit/debit card purchases, protecting these businesses by NOT being Cash only.  However, the most important economic benefit of the SAFER Banking Act is the ability to invest legally in these US Businesses.

Additionally, some may get the impression, and believe the SAFER Banking Act will only benefit those with the money to make even more.

That is a fair assumption.  However, those with governmental power over the past 90 years have created racially-motivated laws targeting communities, to possibly destroy the opportunity to create "Generational Wealth" for its residents.

Subsequently, The SAFER Banking Act will allow those most affected by the War On Drugs to gather their skills, resources, and funding---which once invested collectively, will be one step closer to being Safer, Equal, Legitimate & Validated.
